maxdome secures Studiocanal movie package

German video-on-demand (VOD) service maxdome stocks up its movie library: The subsidiary of TV group ProSiebenSat.1 has acquired a package with blockbusters and more than 500 classics from Studiocanal.

The agreement with the movie subsidiary of French pay-TV company Canal+ contains current productions such as "The Hunger Games", "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy" and "Mirror, Mirror".

Also part of the bouquet are international and German classics such as "Apocalypse Now", "Buena Vista Social Club" and "Fitzcaraldo" as well as titles from the Miramax library like "Kill Bill" und "Pulp Fiction".
