Izzi, the second largest cable operator in Latvia, has launched an interactive TV service in the capital, Riga.
According to the company, it offers over 120 popular channels, some of which are in HD or 3D, along with a number of additional features.
The launch of the service, which was earlier this year also introduced in the towns of Adazi, Rezekne and Ludza, follows the recent completion of a head end in Riga, at a cost of over €2 million.
Izzi is backed by the Luxembourg-based company Contaq Latvia Cable and announced in May that it planned to invest €10 million up to the end of this year on developing new infrastructure and upgrading its existing network.
