Boxee TV partners with Walmart

Boxee has entered a new phase in its marketing strategy by siging an agreement with the world’s biggest retailer, Walmart, to offer Boxee TV in all their US stores.
The Boxee TV set-top is now available in all US Walmart stores, as well as at Walmart.com and at Boxee.tv.
The company also introduced a number of new apps for its Boxee TV: Spotify, WSJ Live, MLB.TV, TED and Accuweather.
Earlier, Boxee announced that premium apps like Netflix, VUDU, YouTube, Vimeo, and Pandora will be available on Boxee TV.
As part of its new marketing offensive, everyone who buys one of the first Boxee TVs is going to receive: three months of Netflix for new & existing subscribers (normally $7.99/month); three months of Boxee’s cloud PVR, called No Limits DVR (normally $14.99/month); a $5.99 credit from Vudu for new subscribers and one month of Spotify Premium for new subscribers
There is also an offer for current Boxee Box owners – 12 months free No Limits DVR.
