CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Freshmen Lexi Bender’s three assists and Dana Trivigno’s goal and assist paced No. 7 Boston College (4-3-1, 3-2-1 Hockey East) to a 6-1 win against Providence (6-4-1, 4-1-0 Hockey East) on Wednesday.
Corinne Boyles stopped 17 Friars shots en route to her third victory of the season, while Sarah Bryant stopped 32 for the Friars in the loss.
The action was back and forth in the early minutes of the first period as the teams skated the first four minutes without a stoppage in play.
