Hat Trick aims to score in Latin America

British TV production company Hat Trick International has appointed Eniela Bella as sales executive for Latin America to expand its portfolio in the region.
Bella also has sales offices in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Benelux, Turkey, Malta and Cyprus. “The company is placing special emphasis on Latin America, seeking to increase sales of its formats, sitcoms and factual content,” Bella told Prensario Internacional.
The main countries the company is aiming to expand into are Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Peru and Colombia, where it sees strong demand for content. “The format Room 101 can fit perfectly, or the dating show Dinner Date,” said Bella.
The production company also offers factual programmes, including Exploring China and Welcome to India, as ready-made content.
Hat Trick International’s catalogue includes over 145 hours of content and 23 formats (11 of them scripted). “More than 40 programmes have been adapted outside the UK in 20 territories,” said Bella.
