Numericable increases fibre and triple-play subs base

French cable operator Numericable has announced that its triple-play, quadruple and fibre subscriber bases have significantly grown over Q3 of 2012.
Triple-Play and Quadruple Play subscribers now total 946,000 under the Numericable brand, while white brand has reached 264,000 subs.
Following its investment into FTTB, Numericable claims leadership with over 4.694 million households and 585,000 very fast broadband subscribers. Numericable confirms its aim to pass the 6 million household mark by 2014.
For the third quarter of 2012, the group posted revenue of €214 million, up 0.9% compared to 2011, and EBITDA increased 4.4% compared to 2011 Q3.
Numericable is also celebrating the commercial success of STB LaBox, as global sales jumped 25% compared to 2011. Since its launch last June, LaBox has sold 85,000 units.
