MTS has a launched what is Russia’s first comprehensive tablet offer.

Known as MTS Tablet, its is available to most subscribers to the Planov2 tariff and provides access to over 100 channels offered by its Mobile TV service, along with unlimited mobile internet access (2G, 3G and 4G) across Russia, for a monthly fee of R400 (€9.94).

Customers who activate the service before January 9 in any part of Russia will be able to use it for R200 for the first month.

MTS says the number of tablet users is growing rapidly in Russia, having increased almost five-fold in the first half of this year.

It adds that by subscribing to MTS Tablet, viewers can save themselves an average of 60% on what the services would cost individually.
