Cable Thai Holding has won the broadcasting rights for the English Premier League for the next three seasons, starting 2013/14.

The Bangkok Post reports that Wichai Thongtang, the major shareholder in Cable Thai Holding, said the company won the rights for Thailand, Cambodia and Laos but he declined to reveal how much it cost.

Cable Thai Holding competed against four other bidders - TrueVisions, GMM Grammy, RS and Channel 7, which joined with Cubic Associates Group on its bid.
