Mediaset Spain has beaten its own Internet record with 18 million unique users, and at the same time the company has strengthened its leadership in the online environment.
Mediaset Spain grew by 19% compared to September and reached 17.9 million unique users in October, nearly 5 million more than RTVE (13.9%) and 4 million more than Antena 3 (13.5%), according to laSexta.com.
The Telecinco website, telecinco.es, is the most followed in the country. Its users have increased by 22% compared to September and closed the month with 15.4 million unique browsers, up 10.9 million on Antenna 3.com. The sites data figures are not comparable, however, because TVE is not separated from the overall figures of the RTVE group. In this sense, Telecinco has 1.1 million daily users on average, while Antena 3 has 700,000.
Telecinco.es stands in fifth place in the ranking of media audited by OJD with regard to national browsers.
The multimedia content portal Mitele.es distributed 10.6 million videos and episodes of series in October and Telecinco and Cuatro distributed 1.6 million live sessions.
Finally, the Mitele application for smartphones had more than 144,000 downloads.
