Former sales chief launches new TV distribution company in Singapore

Nathalie Nennig, former sales chief with leading short-format comedy producer/distributor Novovision, is launching her own Singapore-based distribution and acquisition company.

Making its debut at the upcoming Asia Television Forum, the new DCB Consulting will specialise in the acquisition, distribution and marketing of quality content between Europe and Asia-Pacific. Indeed it will try to carve out a niche in facilitating two-way relationships between European producers and creators with executives in the Asia-Pacific TV industry. DCB Consulting adds that it will also help western producers who are seeking original programming from the region to adapt in their own country.

At launch, DCB Consulting will offer a catalogue containing 35 shows, 90% of which are formats, covering entertainment genres as well as documentaries.

With more than 20 years’ experience in the international TV distribution business, Nennig says that she is launching DCB Consulting to respond to the outstanding dynamism in the Asian market, with its vibrant diversity and vast potential for growth. “With its energy, Singapore seemed the ideal location in Asia to base DCB Consulting,” said Nennig. “From there, it is very easy to reach out to the whole region. I want to remain a boutique distribution company, working closely with my partners and my clients. I will also have a particular focus on entertainment programming and formats.”

Already Nennig has signed deals to represent French companies ADLTV (eight 26’ documentaries entitled Ambassadors’ Cuisine), Ah!Production, Pernel Media and Quadra Film Coalition.
