The Netherlands Competition Authority has cleared Fox's takeover of the company that controls the broadcasting rights for the Eredivisie, the top flight football league.
Fox International Channels will take a 51% stake in Eredivisie Media and Marketing, which holds the broadcasting rights for the Eredivisie.
Competition authority board member Henk Don says the deal guarantees a payment of €80 million a year to clubs in the Eredivisie through to 2025.
