The Miami Dolphins uphill battle for playoff contention might have taken a major hit on Sunday against the New England Patriots.
Jake Long left the game with a triceps injury and did not return.
After the half, Long was reported seen on the sidelines in street clothes.
Right tackle Jonathan Martin has taken Long's spots on the left side, and quarterback Ryan Tannehill has been under siege since. Long is a free agent after the season. If Long is seriously hurt, there's an outside chance he could have taken his last snap as a member of the team.
Long hasn't played well this year, but we'd guess that the team could still use their franchise tag on him. The team can take a look at how Martin would fare on the left side in the meantime.
