Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson will miss at least two to three weeks, after taking a helmet to the knee during Sunday's 15-12 loss to the St. Louis Rams, coach Chan Gailey said Monday morning during his weekly radio spot on WGR-AM.
Jackson was injured with just over five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss. After the game Gailey told reporters that the injury "did not look good."
Jackson already has missed three games this season due to injury -- two with a knee injury and one after suffering a concussion.
Gailey said the loss of Jackson will mean dynamic running back C.J. Spiller would see more touches -- something that should make him happier. Tashard Choice will spell Spiller when needed, Gailey said.
