Baltimore Ravens cornerback Asa Jackson has been suspended four games without pay for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.

Jackson's suspension begins immediately. Should the Ravens make the playoffs, Jackson would be eligible to return to the active roster the day following the Ravens' first postseason game.

Jackson, a rookie, has appeared in one game this season, recording one tackle.
