The Dodgers have acquired utility man Skip Schumaker from the Cardinals, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The Times, citing a source, had no information on what Los Angeles sent to St. Louis.
The Dodgers had no comment on Tuesday night.
Schumaker, who will be 33 when Spring Training begins, has spent his entire nine-year career with the Cardinals. He has played second base and all three outfield positions.
He hit .276 with a .339 on-base percentage in 107 games in 2012 and is a .288 career hitter.
