New CTO for WRN Broadcast

Following its company’s growth in broadcast operations, including the opening of a new data centre, broadcast services provider WRN Broadcasthasappointed former Head of Operations & Technology Services Dave Travisas its new chief technology officer.
For the past three years Travis has been responsible for overseeing the company’s broadcast solutions and technology partnerships with companies such Viacom Media Networks, East Africa’s Zuku, NHK World and VOA.
Travis was Director of Engineering at TSI Broadcast before WRN Broadcast acquired it in 2009. Prior to that he had worked at Viacom, including MTV Networks and was part of the team responsible for building Showtime, Arabia’s multi-channel playout facility in Dubai Media City.
