Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman confirmed Monday that the appeal for his four-game suspension for testing positive for Adderall will be Friday.
Both Seahawks starting cornerbacks Brandon Browner and Sherman were suspended four games for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing drugs. Both appealed, though Browner soon changed his mind and began to serve his ban starting with Sunday's 58-0 win over the Arizona Cardinals.
According to a report last week by USA Today, Sherman said he accidentally drank from a bottle into which a teammate poured a crushed Adderall pill. Browner implied a sample switch produced his positive test, according to the report.
