The strike at France Télévisions stepped up yesterday as 23.8% of its workers protested against the drastic costs cuts planned for 2013.
This strike is taking place as France Télévisions is negotiating with Ministry of Culture and Communications about its objective to reduce its 2013 budget by €85 million to reach €2.45 billion. France Télévisions employs a staff of 10,000 and is planning to cut around 10% of its global workforce.
