GateHouse Media to syndicate content

GateHouse Media has selected as its partner for celebrity and breaking entertainment news, as well as to provide links to TV listings and celebrity photos within GateHouse's national network of websites in the US.

The deal includes awards show coverage, seasonal TV previews and updates on competitions like Dancing with the Stars and American Idol, on its entertainment sections.
"We're excited to be working with," said David Arkin, vice president of content and audience for GateHouse Media. "The company brings a trusted name and brand to our websites' entertainment coverage, which we know readers love, and provides targeted advertising opportunities for our advertisers in this important category."
This is GateHouse Media's third recent major content announcement. The company previously signed agreements with The Street to distribute business content on its sites, and Bleacher Report to distribute sports news.
"GateHouse Media will expand the reach of our editorial content, which currently hits more than 25 million unique users online and eight million mobile customers," said Christy Tanner, executive vice president and GM of and TV Guide Mobile.
