When his parents leave young Peter Parker to stay with his Uncle Ben and Aunt May, little does he realize he'll never see them again. As he grows older, despite being a social outcast at high school, Peter (Andrew Garfield) develops a crush on his beautiful classmate, Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone), with whom he shares a love of science. Peter discovers a briefcase that belonged to his father, which inspires him to find out more about his parents and why they left him. His investigation leads him to Dr. Curt Connors, his father's former partner, whose villainous alter-ego is The Lizard. When Peter is accidentally bitten by a radioactive spider in a lab, he discovers he has super human abilities and decides to put them to good use.

First they'll have to learn to work together as a team, despite their individual struggles - like Captain America learning to adjust to life in the 21st century after being frozen for 70 years, Thor's internal conflict about going up against his evil brother, Loki, and Bruce Banner, who is trying to keep his raging alter ego under control.

Manny (Ray Romano), Diego (Denis Leary), and Sid (John Leguizamo) set out on their greatest adventure when an entire continent is set adrift. Before the continent splits, Manny and his daughter Peaches (Keke Palmer) have a falling out. Although Manny tells Peaches she's not allowed to hang out with her crush Ethan, Manny catches her with him anyway and embarrasses her in front of all her friends. Soon after, the continent separates and Manny, Diego, and Sid are left stranded on an iceberg floating away from their loved ones. After surviving a large sea storm, the three friends find Granny (Wanda Sykes), Sid's grandmother, who was asleep in a tree trunk on the same iceberg. But just as soon as they discover her, they are captured by a group of pirates led by Captain Gutt (Peter Dinklage) and his first mate Shira (Jennifer Lopez). Making a daring escape, the gang gets away from the pirates, only to encounter exotic sea creatures, explore a brave new world, and again come face-to-face with the wrath of Captain Gutt.

Unfortunately, the plan doesn't go quite as anticipated when they find themselves stranded in Monte Carlo. In order to escape a tenacious animal control captain, the group catches a ride with a rundown travelling circus. When they find out the circus is headed for America, they come up with an act so they can pose as part of the show.
