The least surprising news of the weekend has arrived: Robert Griffin III has been cleared to start Sunday by doctors, according to ESPN.
The Washington Redskins listed RG3 as probable on the injury report, which means there was absolutely no doubt about his status. Probable officially means "virtual certainty" to start. The Redskins could have been in trouble with the NFL if Griffin didn't start. In short, he was already cleared or the team knew he would be cleared well before Saturday.
Griffin practiced fully all week and is not expected to be limited at all against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Philly's defensive line has played better over the last couple of weeks and could give the Redskins' offense some trouble. The Redskins will win the NFC East if they win their final two games.
