From today, international children's television channel KidsCo is being broadcast from the media production, broadcast and distribution facility Corus Quay in Toronto.

A joint venture owned by NBCUniversal and Corus Entertainment, the channel will be delivered to over 100 territories in 17 languages.

In addition, Corus will also oversee the channel's programming and scheduling as well as collaborating on marketing and on-air promotions. The channel's new look, developed by Corus, will be complemented by original, new content and a new website.

New programming will be highlighted by key Nelvana titles, the animation studio and distribution company that belongs to Corus.

KidsCo recently licensed a slate of contents including Beyblade, Grossology, Rolie Polie Olie, Jacob Two-Two and Babar. KidsCo has also acquired the rights to widely acclaimed shows My Place and Shelldon, and has commissioned NBCUniversal's Matchbox Pictures to produce Zuzu and the Supernuffs.

Corus' broadcasting portfolio includes 24 TV channels such as Canadian kids' stations YTV, Nickelodeon and Treehouse.
