KIT digital Content Solutions has changed its name to utd. by content, distancing itself from its troubled parent, which it was spun off from in June 2012.

utd. by content provides media management and digital distribution services to the news, media and entertainment industries. It has seen traction from the variety of companies looking to provide on the go content services.

This includes content preparation and distribution services for VOD platforms, as well as the more traditional packaged media for clients including
Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox, FremantleMedia, and Universal Pictures.

utd also provides content ingestion, metadata and asset management.

Announcing the rebrand, CEO Petr Stransky said: “The new name very simply defines who we are and what we are all about. At utd. by content, we intrinsically understand the powerful role content plays in all our lives today. We know how to harness the power of digital content for our customers, and how to unleash it for audiences to devour and savour in whatever form they want.”

Branding consultancy The Be Counsel is behind the change.
