Ross Video, which designs, manufactures and supports equipment for video production applications, is expanding its presence in Brazil with a marketing collaboration with CIS Group.
CIS offers file-based and HD turnkey solutions for the creation, management and distribution of video, film, audio and data for broadcasters and venues.
The two will jointly target opportunities.
"I am looking forward to work closely with CIS, raising Ross Video brand recognition in Brazil and having the same level of success and market penetration we currently have in South/Central America, México and the Caribbean," said Juan Carlos Ortolan, director of sales for Latin America at Ross Video. "CIS has built a strong reputation, working with a wide variety of product and solution suppliers. Ross Video is a complementary line of product for the CIS portfolio and I am confident this partnership will be beneficial to both Ross and CIS."
"The evolution of production workflows will soon require the integration of today's world of file-based editing and distribution solutions with metadata provided by lighting, lenses, and camera support systems, just to name a few key production elements," said Guilherme Silva, CEO of CIS.
"We believe that Ross Video is extremely well positioned to support companies that are looking for production automation and robotic systems, mainly after their acquisition of FX-Motion and Cambotics. We are committed to explore all the synergy between the technology offered by Ross Video and CIS's expertise in MXF based workflows, and offer our clients true solutions, for their production workflow requirements," he added
