Leading Polish ISP E-CHO has engaged the Czech Republic's IPTV and OTT services provider nangu.TV to provide telco-based video solutions over a managed network.

Sold through Polish reseller Elmat, nangu.TV's Media Platform is claimed to provide customers with a flexible white label service that eliminates the need for investment in complex back-end infrastructure and enables video offerings to be deployed quickly. nangu.TV's platform will allow subscribers to have access to linear and non-linear features including video-on-demand (VOD) connecting through a set-top box (STB).

From an operator perspective, nangu.TV says that E-CHO will have the option to tailor products to suit a range of customer needs, additionally facilitating additional revenue by allowing the ISP to resell IPTV services to other operators as a B2B model.
Commenting on the new deal that adds to installations with Swisscom, Broadcast DSi, NETBOX,

Telefónica O2, T-Systems, SmartComp and Slovanet, nangu.TV CEO Antonin Král said: "We're delighted to announce this sale to E-CHO. It's vital that operators of any size can provide value-added services to their customers. Using the nangu.TV Media Platform, ISP, cable, mobile and hospitality TV service providers have a complete solution with one point of contact. This is a unique offering in the market."
