Portugal's telco regulator ANACOM has announced new plans for an extension for DTT subsidies.

The new measures will come into force on 26 April, according to the regulator, 12 months after the country's analogue switch-off.

The subsidies include E61 which provides for the installation, updating and improvement of already existing antennas. People over 65 and those on social security are eligible for these subsidies. The plan also includes a subsidy of up to 50% of the price of the new DTT set-top boxes with a maximum limit of €22.
