UPC Polska reveals CI+ plans

UPC Polska plans to make CAM CI+ modules available to its subscribers within a matter of months.

Quoted by Wirtualne Media, the companyís spokesperson Ewa Sadowska said it is currently undertaking tests ahead of their introduction, which has already taken place in Hungary and Romania, two other regional CEE markets.

Although Multimedia Polska, Polandís second largest cable operator, has no CI+ plans, Vectra, the number three player, is open to the idea and Inea, based in the west of the country, has provided them to its customers since last year.
