Marca TV to broadcast X Games in Spain

Spain's Marca TV is to transmit the X Games - the annual extreme sports competition which kicks off today - to the whole of Spain.

The games start in Aspen, in the US, with skiing and snowboarding events such as Big Air, Slopestyle and Superpipe.
The next stage takes place in Tignes, France, in March, then in April the X Games go to Brazil with BMX, skateboard, motocross and RallyCross events.
In May the competition will arrive in Barcelona with Motocross endurocross, in June, events will take place in Munich and in August, Los Angeles will hold RallyCross, BMX, motocross and skateboarding events.
In order to cover the competition's parade in Barcelona, Catalan public broadcaster TV3 will transmit the games on its TV3, Sport 3, 3/24 and Super 3 channels and offer more than 20 hours of live coverage.
