The international children's channel KidsCo has announced a partnership with NBCUniversal's channel, Syfy, to launch a dedicated programming block.
Called Syfy Kids, this unique programming block will deliver entertainment to children aged from six to ten.
Fully dubbed, Syfy Kids block will launch in Q2 2013. The programming line-up will include content from both NBCUniversal and Corus Entertainment, the joint venture owners of KidsCo as well as original programming and third-party acquisitions.
According to Dave Howe, president, Syfy and Chiller: "This venture extends the Syfy brand to a whole new generation of younger viewers and establishes a strong global partner as we seek to develop an outlet for Syfy Kids content domestically."
