Is there an other way to get logs from my dreambox ???

    Re: logging problem

dreambox 800 do not log by default you need a file called streampes 800hd
once you ftp these files into your box and give them attribute 777 you are able to log the stream.
    Attached Files Attached Files

    Re: logging problem

if you are trying to log the stream just put those files into your box and change attributes to the files to 777
once you have done this use IRD_LogExtract or whatever other logger program you want to use
after putting in your box IP in the logger and press start you should soon see a log file starting
    with all the EMK etc.

    Re: logging problem

ok i will take it step by step!
put the two files in to user/sbin and user/lib change attributes 777
that's all you need to do here.
find out the IP address of your dreambox lets say 192.168.0.2
use a logging program such as IRD_LogExtract nothing else
open the program and click on options
click on dream log server enter your dreambox IP (192.168.0.2 as example)
then enter the PID and separator for the stream you want to log press save and start logger (try EMM PID:0500 SEPARATOR:8240 not 100% sure)
this will start logging the stream.
