Pay-TV players drive strong global growth for Conax

Leading multi-device and digital content security provider Conax has posted what it calls strong growth for 2012, driven by contracts with 26 new pay-TV operators and telcos.
In a brief posting of its highlights for the year, the Oslo-based company said that during 2012 it had entered four new countries, extending its global reach to 85 territories. It also says that the year saw it enjoy its highest shipped volume on record, closing 2012 with a 20% increase on volume over 2011. Q4 revenues also grew substantially, up by 9% compared with the same quarter in 2011.

“In 2012,Conax launched a new corporate strategy and brand, new products, new solutions and a new partnering strategy for securing our position in the value chain,” commented president and CEO, Morten Solbakken. “We are very pleased these efforts have also materialised in an increased customer baseand record volume.”
