Euronews now available on cable TV in Taiwan

Euronews is now available on cable in Taiwan through Shin-Hsin Cable TV and Kuo-Shen Cable TV. The channel is available to all subscribers in the basic offer in English.
Already broadcasting through IPTV, Euronews now reaches 735,500 TV households in Taiwan.
In Asia-Pacific, Euronews is broadcast to some 7,166 million homes in Afghanistan, Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mongolia, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.
Arnaud Verlhac, deputy director worldwide distribution at Euronews, said: "Euronews' expansion in Asia is one of the key objectives of our distribution strategy. After Thailand in January, I'm pleased to announce our new deals in Taiwan and to perceive that Asia's audience interest in Euronews is constantly growing".
