Screenvision and REELZ renew content deal for Limelight in-cinema preshow

Screenvision and the REELZ cable network are renewing their content agreement, with REELZ continuing to provide exclusive monthly content with an inside look at Hollywood during Screenvision's cinema preshow, The Limelight.
Screenvision went live with REELZ content across its 2,300-plus cinema, 14,000 screen-strong network in April 2012. The company said that behind-the-scenes content (74%) and entertainment news (63%) are among the highest rated elements that moviegoers enjoy seeing in the preshow.
"We're very proud to continue this fruitful partnership with Screenvision and their quality theatres across the country," said John de Garmo, senior vice president of distribution at REELZ. "Screenvision's cinema network is a perfect environment for us to showcase our unique take on Hollywood, entertain moviegoers and build awareness and loyalty for the REELZ brand."
REELZ content in Screenvision's preshow is varied; it includes the Actor Spotlight segment, which provides an inside look on the careers of stars like Ryan Gosling and Dwayne Johnson. The presentation in cinemas this March features exclusive interviews with Mila Kunis and Michelle Williams, two of the stars of Oz the Great and Powerful. In December, REELZ content gave movie-lovers a retrospective look at some of the favourite holiday movies of the stars.
