Vivendi to appoint Vincent Bolloré at next annual general meeting

The supervisory board of French media group Vivendi will propose the appointment of Vincent Bolloré at its AGM on 30 April.
The chairman & CEO of Bolloré Group, which last year sold the free DTT channels Direct 8 and Direct Star to Canal+ Group, was co-opted as a member on 13 December.
Four other new members will also be proposed: Nathalie Bricault, who represents the Group's employee shareholders; Pascal Cagni, currently non-voting director and former general manager and vice president Apple Europe, Middle-East, India, and Africa; Yseulys Costes, chairman & CEO and founder of the interactive marketing company 1000mercis; and Alexandre de Juniac, chairman & CEO of Air France.
Subject to approval, Vivendi's supervisory board will comprise 16 members.
