NexStreaming has announced the availability of KineMaster, a mobile video editor for Android that makes use of Qualcomm Technologies' Snapdragon 800 processors, which offers accelerated video codecs.
KineMaster's touch-screen UI allows editing to be done on mobile devices without connecting to a computer, including preparing input data and adding a variety of effects to the video. Consumers also can share the result online, upload it to the cloud or send it out in messages.
KineMaster allows users to show multiple videos on the same screen, embed a variety of themes, video transition effects and title overlays, and supports image panning and zooming, as well as instant preview.
"Snapdragon 800 processors enable leading graphics and multimedia experiences, including support for HD and now up to 4K (ultra HD) playback and record, among others," said Raj Talluri, senior vice president of product management at Qualcomm. "We are excited about KineMaster because it showcases the possibility of having a high performance, feature rich video editor running on mobile devices, truly leveraging the Snapdragon processor platform."
