AT&T offers free Xbox, tablet or home theatre to new U-verse customers

AT&T is offering customers who sign up for both U-verse high speed Internet and either U-verse TV or U-verse Voice their choice of a free Wi-Fi enabled entertainment device – an Xbox 360, SONOS PLAY:3, Kindle Fire or Nexus 7 tablet.
Also, those who bundle U-verse TV and Internet now benefit from more flexible connectivity with a free wireless gateway.
Customers also receive access to the AT&T Wi-Fi network at no extra charge.
"Customers tell us they enjoy access to their in-home Wi-Fi network and the freedom to use more than 32,000 AT&T Wi-Fi Hot Spots across the country, which is why we're building new bundle offers around our broadband services," said Mel Coker, CMO at AT&T Home Solutions. "We know when customers bundle U-verse Internet, TV and voice services, they have higher customer satisfaction and engagement. Customers tell us that packing the services gives them even more reasons for love U-verse."
AT&T said that in the fourth quarter of 2012, 90% of U-verse customers bundled U-verse TV and Internet.
AT&T added 609,000 U-verse high speed Internet subscribers in the fourth quarter of 2012 to reach a total of 7.7 million U-verse high speed Internet customers.
