Visiware claims 1,000 TV shows enriched with second-screen technology

Visiware is taking the opportunity to celebrate the 1,000th TV show enriched by its second-screen technology at MIPTV.
Visiware's second-screen solution for channels, producers, operators and advertisers, allows clients to deploy immersive interactive experiences and enrich their shows or spots through the Web, iPhones, iPads, Android smartphones and tablets.
Initially used to create synchronised interactivity for international game show formats for its clients Endemol and Sony Pictures Television, Visiware's technology has been extended to sports and talent shows. Visiware works for 17 top networks and reaches 25 million viewers.
In Cannes, Visiware is unveiling its B2B solution line-up covering almost all genres from talent shows to news and music programmes. Visiware also offers advertisers the opportunity to reach their consumers with rich interactive brand experience during the airing of their TV spots.
Its second-screen solution allows viewers to engage with a show through audience participation (trivia, polls, voting), fan communities, exclusive contents enrichment, virtual competitions and gamification.
