Unexpectedly approached by the wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen), Bilbo agrees to join a company of dwarves led by legendary warrior Thorin Oakenshield. The journey takes them through treacherous lands swarming with goblins and orcs, deadly wargs and giant spiders, shapeshifters and sorcerers and ultimately leads Baggins to find a magical gold ring tied to the fate of all Middle-earth.

A man named Pi tells a story that occurred when he was 16. When his family decides to move their zoo from India to Canada, Pi winds up as the only human survivor of the tragic sinking of a cargo ship. On the sea in a lifeboat, he's accompanied by the other survivors - a zebra, a hyena, a female orangutan and a 450-pound aggressive Bengal tiger named Richard Parker. Pi tries catching fish to feed the tiger so he won't get eaten himself. When officials from the Maritime department don't believe his story, Pi tells them another one but this time with a slightly different angle.

Despite being made fun of, his skill comes in handy when a centuries-old witch's curse unleashes a group of undead creatures onto his small New England town. Although everyone made fun of him, it turns out Norman is the community's only hope for survival. Norman has to figure out where the curse came from and on top of it all, he's forced to battle ghosts, witches and zombies. To make matters worse, he also has to deal with the ignorant humans who don't understand why he's so special.

At the height of the Iranian revolution in 1979, Islamist militants storm the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, taking 52 Americans hostage. Six manage to get away and hide in the home of the Canadian ambassador (Victor Garber), but the solution is temporary because they know - especially with the door-to-door searches - as soon as the militants figure out where they are, they'll be killed. CIA "exfiltration" specialist Tony Mendez (Ben Affleck) comes up with a risky scheme to get them safely out of the country. His plan is to pose as a film producer scouting locations in Iran for an upcoming sci-fi production called Argo. The American hostages, in disguises, will then accompany him out of the country as his film crew. In order to pull it off, Mendez enlists the help of veteran Hollywood producer Lester Siegel (Alan Arkin) and make-up artist John Chambers (John Goodman).

Jacob (Taylor Lautner) bonds with the child and helps the new parents keep the girl safe from his former wolf pack. When the Volturi hear about the child, they assume the Cullens have broken vampire laws and have created a newborn by turning a human child into a vampire child. Alice has a vision showing her that the Volturi are coming to kill them all, and no explanation will be good enough for them. The Cullens summon their vampire friends from around the world to get to know Renesmee so they can prove she's a human/vampire hybrid. When Alice and Jasper disappear, the Cullens fear the worst and try to prepare themselves for an all-out war.

His wife takes their young son and leaves because of George's selfish and irresponsible behavior and the fallen star is reduced to making sports casting demo tapes in his guest house just to make ends meet. When the opportunity arises to take over coaching their son's losing soccer team, George takes uses the gig to try and redeem himself. The only problem is, he can't seem to avoid getting caught up in the messed up lives of his players' families - like the father (Dennis Quaid) who throws money at him for favors, the wife (Uma Thurman) who manages to make her way into his bed while he's out, or the mother (Catherine Zeta-Jones) who bribes him into sleeping with her by offering him his dream job. In between trying to stay out of trouble and landing a respectable job with a sports network, George struggles to reconnect with his family, who are already on the brink of losing any faith in him as a father.
