Eutelsat confirms 5-6% revenue growth in 2013

Eutelsat has posted revenues up 4.6% to 322.9 million for the third quarter to 31 March 2013.

Nine-month revenues are up 5% to 956.5 million and with a record backlog of 5.5 billion, the operator has confirmed revenue growth in the 5-6 % range over 2012-2013.
EBITDA margin is expected to be around 77.5%.
Video represents Eutelsat's main business, accounting for almost 70% of revenues, standing at 216.4 million in the third quarter. This area was boosted by new long-term video contracts in North Africa and the Middle East.
Commenting on the Group's results, Michel de Rosen, CEO of Eutelsat Communications, said that Eutelsat is "pursuing our programme to deploy capacity on seven additional satellites by end 2015 to enable us to meet demand in the highest growth applications and regions, with the first, Eutelsat 3D, on track for launch on 14 May."
