France Télévisions' digital developments grow on mobile devices

French PSB group France Télévisions' digital developments have seen a 23% rise in traffic on mobile devices, both smartphones and tablets.
The group saw a record-breaking 12.5 million visits in June, up 74% compared to 2012.
France Télévisions' websites attracted 10.8 million unique visitors in May 2013, a 10% growth compared to January.
The group has also seen huge growth of video consumption registered on the Web, mobile devices and IPTV over the last six months. 51 million videos were requested on average each month over the period, up 34% against the same period in 2012.
The first half of 2013 has notably been marked by the extended distribution of catch-up TV service Pluzz on Xbox and Numericable, the multiplication of second-screen operations as well as the launch of augmented reality through France TV's HbbTV portal.
France Télévisions' digital developments are achieving the biggest audiences on sports, entertainment and politics.
The group's social audience also has significantly risen over the first quarter, gathering more than 1.5 million tweets about its programming in June 2013, up three-fold compared to last January.
