    Lightbulb Cache-EX Loopback

    Hello,

I have did some test and I see that there is a loopback in the Cache-Ex. Everything what I am receiving I send it back (in the same group).

Tested with OScam version 8742 and 8756 on a clean Debian Server with not CW Cycle on and everyone in the same group. Of course the problem is solved if you change the group. (reader group 10, client in group 11).

Does anyone else have this problem?

    See my update below.

    Re: Cache-EX Loopback

    2x OSCAM 1.20-unstable_svn build r8756

I have setup two servers for the test.

    Home > Server 1
    Server 1 > Server 2
    Server 2 > Server 1

Server 2 is sending the same cache back to Server 1.

    Server 1:
    Code:
Direction Type Name IP NODE Cache EX Mode Push Got Hit Err CW Diff
    Client server2 x x REVERSE CACHE PUSH 0 0 0 0 0
    Client home x x REVERSE CACHE PUSH 0 28 0 0 0
    Reader server2 x x REVERSE CACHE PUSH 28 0 0 0 0
    [reader] label = server2 protocol = cccam device = x user = server1 password = x inactivitytimeout = 30 cacheex = 3 cacheex_maxhop = 2 group = 10 dropbadcws = 1 cccversion = 2.3.0 cccmaxhops = 0 ccckeepalive = 1 audisabled = 1 [account] user = home pwd = x uniq = 3 keepalive = 1 group = 10 cacheex = 3 cacheex_maxhop = 1 cccmaxhops = -1 cccreshare = 0 numusers = 0 penalty = 0 [account] user = server2 pwd = x uniq = 3 keepalive = 1 group = 10 (if you change this to another group you will get the cache back) cacheex = 3 cacheex_maxhop = 3 cccmaxhops = -1 cccreshare = 0 numusers = 0 penalty = 0 [global] disablelog = 1 logfile = /oscam/log/oscam.log clienttimeout = 10000 fallbacktimeout = 2600 clientmaxidle = 0 nice = -1 maxlogsize = 99999 waitforcards = 0 waitforcards_extra_delay = 3000 readerrestartseconds = 15 dropdups = 1 block_same_ip = 0 failbantime = 3600 failbancount = 5 [cccam] port = x nodeid = x version = 2.2.1 reshare = 1 ignorereshare = 1 stealth = 1 [webif] httpport = x httprefresh = 30 httphideidleclients = 1 httpallowed = x
    Server 2:
    Code:

    Client server1 x x REVERSE CACHE PUSH 0 28 0 0 0
    Reader server1 x x REVERSE CACHE PUSH 28 0 0 0 0
    [reader] label = server1 protocol = cccam device = x user = server2 password = x inactivitytimeout = 30 cacheex = 3 cacheex_maxhop = 3 group = 10 dropbadcws = 1 cccversion = 2.3.0 cccmaxhops = 0 ccckeepalive = 1 audisabled = 1 [account] user = server1 pwd = x uniq = 3 keepalive = 1 group = 10 cacheex = 3 cacheex_maxhop = 2 cccmaxhops = -1 cccreshare = 0 numusers = 0 penalty = 0 [global] disablelog = 1 logfile = /oscam/log/oscam.log clienttimeout = 10000 fallbacktimeout = 2600 clientmaxidle = 0 nice = -1 maxlogsize = 99999 waitforcards = 0 waitforcards_extra_delay = 3000 readerrestartseconds = 15 dropdups = 1 block_same_ip = 0 failbantime = 3600 failbancount = 5 [cccam] port = x nodeid = x version = 2.2.1 reshare = 1 ignorereshare = 1 stealth = 1 [webif] httpport = x httprefresh = 30 httphideidleclients = 1 httpallowed = x

    Re: Cache-EX Loopback

@turbopower It is only for a test. Do you understand what the problem is?

Everything what Server 1 is sending to Server 2 send Server 2 back to Server 1. The problem is that your upload is much higher.

If you want we can do a test with our share, please PM me.

    Re: Cache-EX Loopback

My advice is to refer on proven in time setups only - use only one cacheex server.
You send cache to one server and turn back the same cache this no make sense for me for any purposes.
I feel that anything is wrong please open ticket in stream board.

    Server 1 > Server 2
    Server 2 > Server 1

    Re: Cache-EX Loopback

I have only 1 cache server. Server 1 and Server 2 are only for a test (no other users).

I will test it with a other user (Please PM me if you want to test).

    Re: Cache-EX Loopback

Hey, i have same setup running and no problems here, i receive cache from cacheex server on my primairy server and i push the ecms that are decoded by the clients back to the cacheex server. received ecm is 20xxxxx and pushed is 1xxxx so only local ecm's are pushed. You need to enable drop csp cache on your local server so that the csp ecm's ( that come without id) arn't getting send back to the clients. (running 8713)

    Re: Cache-EX Loopback

    Client test_c3 X X REVERSE CACHE PUSH 0 1178 0 0 19
    Reader test_c3 X X REVERSE CACHE PUSH 1178 0 0 0 0

    > Client receive 2 hops
    > Reader send 3 hops (+1)

I have put drop CSP on and the problem is still the same.

The test user is sending cache to me in a different group and I am sending cache back from the same group. I have add no other groups to the reader and no other cache. It is the same cache I am receiving.

The test user don't received cache because it is the same cache in his group.

    Tested Oscam version: 8440,8743,8778
