    Astra 1 Frequency change from 12344 H 27500 3/4 to 12722 H DVB-S2 8PSK 22000 3/4

Crypto Channels on 12344 are advising about a frequency change to 12722 on DVB-S2 8PSK.
The new transponder seems to be in operation, but the crypto coded channels are black with the actually known seeds good for the previous frequencies.
Any comments on this item would be welcome.

Channels coded in DVB-S2 8PSK will not open with key's we know. I hope they will find a solution for this.

    That's not true!
    See ORF I & ORF II HD,they are also using DVB-S2 8PSK (11303 H 22000 / Astra1L-19.2E)
but they do clear on CW Emu keys...
So the reason must be something else, not the transmition format...

Of course the reason must be something else, i.e. different keys for the signal received from the new transponder...
Apart from all this, note that the new transponder has a different signal coverage over the territory, reducing the possible reception areas.
