Canal+'s online platform Yomvi has finally launched an app which works on Android devices. The development has been long-awaited by Yomvi customers, who until now could only use the multiscreen app on iOS devices and Samsung Smart TVs.
The app is not yet in its definitive version as it only includes Canal+'s sports schedule. But it seems that Prisa's pay-TV platform has finally found a solution to fit the wide range of Android tablets and smartphones. The company's software developers had faced problems with developing one app for the hundreds of Android devices present in the market. But at last the app is available for 4.0 and higher versions.
The Android app allows users to watch Canal+1, Canal+Liga, Canal+ Liga Multi, Canal+Liga de Campeones, Canal+ Golf and Canal+ Deportes.
There is no date as yet for the release of the complete version.
