Serbia flagSerbia’s Republic Broadcast Agency (RRA) has decided today (August 9) not to award a licence for a national frequency formerly held by TV Avala.
According to B92, this follows the failure of its members to decide on the results of a tender and a new one will now be held.
Although there were two bidders for the national frequency – TV Nova and TV Kopernikus 3 – neither secured the required number of votes (five), with four members of the RRA in fact voting against the allocation of frequencies.
The deadline for the allocation of the frequency is August 19.
