TVE's mobile application has been named best platform for audiovisual content in Spain by the jury at FesTVal. According to Europa Press, the prize recognises the work of Tecnilógica, the developer company.
The Mobile World Capital Barcelona prize will be presented on the last day of FesTVal on 7 September. This is the first year that this award has been given.
The prize recognises the public group's efforts to become mobile. TVE has nine different apps, including one offering radio podcasts and another exclusively with children's content from Clan which is among the most used apps in Spain's audiovisual market.
"We have designed an app which allows a fast connection to RTVE's API, which is also safe and extremely stable, without any kind of interruptions," pointed out Jorge Gutiérrez, Tecnilógica's CEO.
The fifth edition of FesTVal will be held in Vitoria during the first week of September. The event is a meeting place for Spain's audiovisual industry, with the country's major channels and companies attending to show their latest productions.
