Sony Creative Software, which provides professional editing and authoring applications, is showcasing its Sound Forge Pro 11 and SpectraLayers Pro 2 upgrades, along with Vegas Pro 12 and Sound Forge Pro Mac, at IBC 2013.

"We are excited to showcase our professional video and audio production applications at one of the largest industry gatherings," said Dave Chaimson, vice president of Sony Creative Software. "Our latest versions of Sound Forge Pro and SpectraLayers Pro are two important products for any professional broadcaster. We will be offering daily hands-on demonstrations of these products by our knowledgeable staff, as well as on the 4K workflow of Vegas Pro."

Sony Creative Software will cover the new versions' top-line features including metering for the new critical broadcast audio standards, the Spectral Casting/Spectral Moulding process, and inter-programme data exchange functionality.

Sony Creative Software will also run demonstrations on how to ingest, edit, and output 4K video content.
