Fitness TV, a health, fitness and wellbeing channel, is expanding across Europe as it increases its network of carriage deals.
The channel features fitness instruction led by celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, yoga instruction and exercise regimes from the personal trainers of TV and cinema stars like Jennifer Aniston, Madonna and Amy Childs. It also focuses on spa treatments and Pilates classes, and showcases weight-loss programmes.
The channel has launched in Finland, Slovakia, Poland and Estonia, in what the company said is a "testament to the entertaining, educational and instructional content featured on the channel and the universal appeal of exercise combined with a healthy lifestyle".
"We're delighted by the new launches and continuing interest in the channel," said Charlie Louise, director of Fitness TV. "Fitness TV is always adding new programming which we feel has widespread appeal across EMEA as people become more aware of the positive benefits of regular exercise and a healthy diet."
Executive director of 3Vision Distribution Jonathan Nickell, who handles Fitness TV channel sales, added: "The latest launches demonstrate how Fitness TV, as Europe's only 24-hour health and fitness channel, taps into the modern culture of a healthier lifestyle. Fitness TV is generating strong interest in a number of markets across EMEA and we look forward to more launches in the coming months."
