French viewers requested 217.5 million catch-up TV videos in June through the services of the six national private channels (TF1 – which is the most watched – France 2, France 3, Canal+, France 5 and M6) and eight free DTT channels (D8, W9, TMC, NT1, France 4, i>tele, D17 and France O).
The global offer from free-to-air (FTA) national channels amounted to 14,100 programming hours.
According to the monthly CNC barometer, catch-up TV consumption rose 6.1% compared to May 2013.
Over the first six months of the year, 1,221,1 million videos were requested. This figure shows a slight decrease compared to the first semester of 2012 (1.3 billion videos).

Online TV consumption, which includes catch-up TV, bonus and multi-device live viewing, totalled 276.7 million videos viewed in June, up 12.4%. Since the beginning of the year, this amounts to 1.5 billion videos.
