Ahead of Kiev Media Week, starting on 10 September in Ukraine, French distribution company Can't Stop Media has sold three scripted reality formats to free-to-air broadcaster ICTV.
The channel will produce the local version of Customs Investigators (8x48') and Special Forces (9x48'), two action-scripted reality formats from German producer Blueprint Entertainment.
Both shows have been airing in prime time on RTL2, with the 2D series of Special Forces launching soon in Germany.
Can't Stop Media and ICTV have also agreed on the pilot production for a third scripted German reality format entitled Faster Than the Police Allows, which has been airing on Vox for four years.
Owing to the fact that Ukraine is an early adopter of global formats, Can't Stop Media is looking to extend its partnerships with broadcasters in Russia and other CIS countries.
