CNBC will become available in Slovakia for the first time on September 2, when it launches on UPC Broadband Slovakia.
The business channel, which globally reaches more than 395 million homes, will be offered in the Slovak operator’s basic digital package.
Commenting on the launch, Antony Lilleyman, VP of commercial, EMEA at CNBC, said: “Our agreement with UPC Broadband enables viewers in Slovakia to watch the latest global business news and analysis, and access CNBC’s real-time data. We continue to grow our footprint across the region as operators recognise CNBC’s expertise in the market.”
